RUDERATSHOFEN
State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Ostallgäu
Additions : 1978 Apfeltrang
Official blazon
Gespalten von Rot und Silber; hinten ein mit goldenem Gitter belegter roter Schrägbalken.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 10, 1954.
The silver and red division is derived from the arms of the State of Augsburg, to which the area historically belonged. The red bend is taken from the arms of the Lords of Rotenstein, who originated in the village.
