Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 25, 1928.
The arms are those of Catherine de Haneffe, Lady of Aiseau from the late 14th century. The arms were used by the local council and in the 17th century a crown of a Marquise was added. These arms were finally granted in 1928.
