In azuur een Phoenix van goud opstijgende uit vlammen van keel. Als embleemspreuk HERBOREN HERRIJS IK in Latijnse letters van goud op een lint van azuur.
The Phoenix symbolises the rebirth of the De Kooy after World War II and also symbolises the Aircraft Repair Work done at the Base. the badge was designed by Commander G.H. Woudstra Commanding Officer of the Base at the time. The badge was approved 6 July 1964.
