Origin/meaning
Half of the decanate used to fall beneath the Diocese of Litomyšl until the 16th century which is referenced by the golden cross on black. The red-silver part meanwhile references the arms of the arms of the Archdiocese of Olomouc beneath which the decanate now falls.
