DOLNÍ BOJANOVICE
Province: Jihomoravský Kraj
District (Okres): Hodonín
Czech | Modro-černě dělený štít, v horním modrém poli šikmá stříbrná vinná větev se třemi hrozny a jedním listem, v dolním poli dvě stříbrná břevna. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on February 13, 1996.
The grapes indicate that area has always been dominated by agricultural production, specifically the cultivation and processing of vines. The year 1904 was important for the village, when several villagers decided to establish a wine association, and because they decided to work for each other, the name Zádruha was created by an anagram.
The base refers to the local tunnels. According to legend, two old underground corridors converge here, which should connect the church in the village with the castle in Čejkovice. In 1998, the buried beginning of the corridor was cleaned and the ceiling was reinforced with steel beams.
