The Gold Colour symbolises the Sandy Soils in the Northwestern Corner of Noord-Barbant, the Location of the Squadron. The badger's head symbolizes the qualities of the squadron's personnel, namely socially minded, territory aware and non-aggressive. The badger is strong and defends itself firmly and doggedly when threatened. The colors of the badger's head, white and black, symbolize the continuous activities of the squadron day and night.
