===Official blazon===
In keel een diode tussen 2 vleugels, alles van goud. Het geheel omgeven door de vastgestelde omlijsting met in het ovaalvormige plaatje in Latijnse cijfers van sabel ‘982’ en met de embleemspreuk ‘pars de toto’.

===Origin/meaning===
===Origin/meaning===
For the emblem of 982 Squadron, the emblem of the former Electronic Air Force Materiel Depot was chosen, which was later transferred to Rhenen Logistics Division. The emblem consists of a diode of gold through a raised flight, or wings, also in gold. A diode is an electrical element that allows a certain current to flow at a certain voltage. The tension represents the demand from the defense units for articles or technical support. The property of a diode is:the higher the voltage, the greater the current. Translated to 982 Squadron:the more difficult the question, the greater the challenge for the personnel to solve the question. The lifted flight reflects the dynamics with which to work, due to ever new techniques and greater challenges around the world. The saying 'pars de toto' means part of the whole. Like a diode, 982 Squadron is an indispensable link for the entire defense apparatus.

Origin/meaning
