Official blazon
Van sabel met eenen keper van goud beladen met drie leliën van lazuur vergezeld in het schildhoofd van twee afgerukte en elkander aanziende leeuwenkoppen van goud, getongd van keel en in den schildvoet van een luipaardenkop van goud houdende in zijne muil een ring van sabel. Kroon van dertien parels waarvan drie verheven. Schildhouders: twee geleeuwde en gekroonde luipaarden van goud, genageld en getongd van keel houdende elk eene bannier met de wapens van het schild.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on July 22, 1923.
The arms are based on the arms shown on the seal of the local council dating from 1777. The arms are derived from the arms of the Faille family, Lords of Huise from 1654 until 1793.
