Schild in Göpelteilung; vorn in Silber ein schwarzer Buchenzweig mit grünen Blättern, hinten in Grün ein silbernes Mühlrad, unten in Schwarz ein silbernes Torhaus beseitet von einer silbernen Mauer.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 18, 1993.
The beech leaf refers to the local forests. The millstone refers to the five mills which used to be in the river Ohle in the village. The base refers to the village of Reiferstein in the municipality and the monastery in that village. The monastery was founded in 1162.
