Een zwart veld, met dry zilveren degens, van de regte naer de linke zyde afhangende.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 16, 1842.
The arms are based on the arms used by the Lords of Varsenare as shown in a roll of arms from 1557. Also in the 17th century these arms were mentioned as those of the Lords of Varsenare, and thus were adopted by the village in 1842.
