Van zilver, beladen met een zigt en een haak, boven een weefgetouw met een spoele, beneden een ploeg, alles in hunne natuurlijke kleur.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on August 4, 1818.
The arms show some agricultural symbol and a loom. The arms had no historical background or significance and indicate the agricultural character of the village at the time as well as the importance of (home) weaving.
