RÈVES

Province : Hainaut
Incorporated into : 1977 Les Bons Villers

Armoiries de Rèves

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 9, 1950.

The arms are those of the Montmorency family, who acquired the estate in the middle of the 17th century and owned it until the end of the 18th century. The arms are based on a 18th century seal of N. de Montmorency as marquise of Rèves and baron of Luttetal.

Literature: Servais, 1955
