Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 13, 1977.

The chief is derived from the local church, which is devoted to the three Holy Kings.
The cross in the lower part of the shield is derived from the arms of the Bitburg Abbey, to which the village historically belonged.

Literature : Wappenbuch der Verbandsgemeinde Bitburg-Land 1995.
