Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 28, 1987.
The arms combine the lion of the former arms of Waldhorn with the Madonna and Child from the seal of Lontzen. The seal indicates that Lontzen historically belonged to the Marienstift Abbey in Aachen.
The supporter, Saint Stephen, was already part of the arms of Waldhorn.
