Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 19, 2000.
The arms show in the upper part a sponge cake, a typical sweet dish from the area.
The corn stalks symbolise the agricultural character of the municipality. The tower symbolises the medieval tower in Lourosa de Campos.
