Origin/meaning
The arms show three towers, a symbol for a city, and a swan, which is taken from the arms of the oldest Lords of Widuchowa. The oldest known seal of the city dates from the 14th century and shows already the castle and a swan's head. Later images of the arms always showed the swan.
