Auf goldenem Untergrund ziehen zwei rote Zickzackbalken, darüber ein steigender Biber mit roter Zunge.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on September 21, 1936 to the former Amt Ostbevern and on April 7, 1975 to the municipality.
The beaver is a canting symbol (Biber, Bever). The two red bars are derived from the arms of the former Lords of Bever.
