Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on March 18, 2003.
The golden bordure with a red Latin cross symbolizes the historical efforts of Jan of Těchlovice, at the end of the 14th century, to unify the surrounding villages, which led to greater prosperity for the locality. Among other things, Jan of Těchlovice became the patron of many churches in the area for these efforts.
The silver chevron symbolises the surroundings of Těchlovice, especially the beautiful rock formation Vrabinec, which is a defining and inherent dominant feature of the village.
Two golden apples with reversed silver leaves on the stem refer to the past when the village was a fruit-growing region.
A fish is a symbol of the river Labe/Elbe and the life in it, fisheries were historically important. The paddle refers to the activities of the village connected to the river; a shipyard and a school built in the past for coxswains and ship captains.
