Origin/meaning
The Stars symbolises the Climate of the Trás-os-Montes area. This is Montaineous symbolised by the Mountain Peaks. The Gauntlet and Mace symbolises the military role and the Battle Cry. The Wolf in the Crest symbolise the character of the Regiment's Soldiers.
