Van keel met twee palen van zilver.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 29, 1952.
The arms are based on the arms of the late medieval Lords of Hollebeke. Their arms are mentioned as two bends and not two pales red. Due to a misinterpretation the arms were granted as pales in 1952.
