Armoiries de Remicourt

Official blazon

Durelé d'or et de gueules de dix pièces, au lambel d'azur à trois pendants à la ancienne brochant sur les quatre premières burelles.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 18, 1991.

As none of the municipalitie sthat merged in 1977 used arms, it was decided to use the arms on the oldest seal of the Remicourt council, dating from 1307. The arms show the pales of the Coutns of Loon (Looz) with a label as used the family Looz-Agimont since Arnould d'Agimont, Lord of Thynes in the 14th century.
