D'or à la fasce d'azur,l'écu surmonté d'un heaume d'argent, couronné, grillé, colleté et liseré d'or, doublé et attaché de gueules, aux lambrequins d'or et de sable, tenu à dextre par un sauvage de carnation, ceint et courénné de lierre, armé d'une massue sur l'épaule, et supporté à senestre par un lion regardant d'or, lampassé de gueules. Cimier: une cuve de sable, cerclée d'or et remplie de plumes de coq de sable.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 24, 1962.
The arms are those of the Spangen family, Lords of Ottignies from 1602-1731.
