The arms are a combination of the arms of the former municipalities :
The first quarter shows the arms of the province of Hainaut, which were also used by Bellecourt. The second quarter shows the arms of Hestre, the third of Fayt-lez-Manage. The fourth quarter shows the eagle from the arms of Bois-d'Haine.
