Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on January 19, 2007.
The thorn is a canting symbol, the meaning of the other half I do not know.
The arms were designed after a vote from the citizens, who could select from 11 proposals, see below. All showed some form of a canting thorns and often also the rose. In the end proposal number 11 was selected , but the Czech heraldry committee changed the position of the two halves when the arms were approved in 2007.
