Arms of Więcbork

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

Historical seals showed the Polish eagle when the town was part of Poland. In the early 19th century, when the city was German, the common seal of Vandsburg and Zempelburg showed for Vandsburg a castle with in the gate a knight.

In the early 20th century the arms below were mentioned. The hills supposedly indicate that the city is surrounded by hills. The three small shields symbolise the three former castles in the area.
