Series and Variations

There are several series issued by this company, one with one coat-of arms per card, and one with multiple small images on one card.

The series are quite extended and includes besides heraldic arms, also postcards with more pictorial designs within a shield-shape. Many of the cards have been issued with different colours or backs. The gallery below includes all cards that I have so far.

The series includes not only arms of towns and villages, but also of regions, départements and other types of territories.

Examples of the types of the design on the reverse of the cards

  • Back type 1 : used on series 1 : Départements Français.

  • Back type 2 : used on series 2 : Villes et provinces de France
    Several sub-variations exist with different fonts and letter sizes

  • Back type 3 : used on series 2.

  • Back type 3-bc : used on series 2, but with a barcode in the upper right corner (newer cards)

  • Back type 4 : used on series 2c, special regions and territories with card-specific subtext.

  • Back type 5 : used on series 2, exists with different publisher names.

  • Back type 6

  • Back type 8

This is a series with a very similar design, but labelled K.S.P. Créations instead of Kroma
