Portuguese | Escudo de prata, com um corvo marinho de negro segurando um peixe de vermelho no bico, pousado sobre um monte de verde, saínte de um ondado de prata e de verde, de três peças; em chefe um açor de negro realçado de ouro voando, segurando uma quina de Portugal nas garras. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " CORVO ", em letras de negro. |

Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 4, 1948.
The arms show the island of Corvo, which is basically a large volcano, with a canting raven (Corvo). The fish symbolises the importance of fishing for the island. Above the island is the eagle of the Açores group.
