Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 21, 1969.

The arms show the wheel of the State of Mainz, as the village belonged to theState of Mainz until 1803. The upper corner shows a wavy bend for the Sailauf and Steinbach rivers. The oak leaf in the lower half symbolises the forests of the Spessart region, in which the village is situated.
