O castelo assente num monte de penhascos de negro, realçados de prata e de verde, cortado por três faixetas ondadas, duas de prata e uma de azul. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco com os dizeres: " CIDADE DE ALMADA ". |

The arms were officially granted on December 30, 1985. The previous arms were granted on May 25, 1936 and only differ in the crown.
