Official blason:

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on January 17, 1962.

The oldest known seal of Nieder Wöllstadt dates from 1770 and shows two shields, one with a rose, the other with a horseshoe. The rose most likely is a symbol of justice, the horseshoe the historical village symbol. The arms combine the two elements. The official arms are in the colours of the County Solms, to which the area historically belonged.

The arms below were proposed in 1956 and show the arms in different colours.
