In achtfach von Silber und Grün geteiltem Schildbord, oben rechts in Rot ein silberner Adler, oben links in Silber ein schwebendes blaues Kreuz, unten rechts in Silber ein grüner Wacholderzweig mit blauen Wacholderbeeren, unten links in Blau ein silberner Adler.
Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on February 9, 1979.
The different villages in the Verbandsgemeinde each belonged to one or more different rulers during the centuries. In the arms three quarters show the arms of the most prominent of these rulers; the eagles of the Counts of Dahn (red) and the Counts of Leiningen (blue) and the cross of the State of Speyer. The juniper branch is taken from the arms of Spirkelbach. The bordure is a common symbol for a Verbandsgemeinde.
