Origin/meaning
The Black Field symbolises the Soil of Portugal. The Flower a Marguerite (Margarida in Portuguese) alludes to the Name. The Brodure symbolises cooperation with the Mechanised Brigade, which is based here. The Wild Boar symbolises strength and watchfulness, it is holding a Shield with the arms of the Mechanised Brigade.
