In schräglinksgeteiltem Schild vorne rot-silber geschacht, hinten in Schwarz ein goldenes Köhlerfeuer.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on September 5, 1972.
The chequered field refers to the County Sponheim, to which the area historically belonged. The fire in the lower half symbolizes the charcoal factory which was established many centuries ago near the present village.
