Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on March 24, 1969.
The arms were designed in 1868 an simply refer to the forests in the municipality and the position in the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) region. The colours are those of the Lords von Remchingen who played an important role in the local history.
