Escudo de azul, cavaleiro vestido de cota de malha brandindo na mão direita uma espada de prata e sustentando no braço esquerdo um escudo amendoado de prata carregado da Cruz de Santiago, de vermelho. O cavaleiro cavalgando um corcel branco. Sob as patas dianteiras do cavalo, um mouro, derrotado, vestido de albornoz e turbante brancos, segurando uma adaga. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " CIDADE DE SANTIAGO DO CACÉM ", de negro.
