In geteiltem Schild, oben in Silber die Halbfigur eines Augustiner-Mönches in Vorderansicht, beiderseitig begleitet von einem grünen Weinstock, unten in Blau und Gold geschachtet.
Origin/meaning
The asrms were officially granted in 1953.
The monk refers to the former monastery in the village (abandoned in 1802). The checquered field is taken from the arms of the Lords of Sponheim, to whom the village historically belonged.
