Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 1, 1947 and again on October 13, 1987.
The arms are identical to the arms of the Dukes of Aremberg, the last lords of the village, who owned the village from 1691-1798.
The oldest known seal of Drogenbos dates from 1295 and shows the arms of the Berthout family, owners of the village at the time. On later seals the patron saint, St. Nicholas is seen. Only in the middle of the 18th century the Aremberg arms appear on the local seals.
