Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 20, 1962.
The arms show a toll bar, which was erected in 1571 on the Gröbenbach river between München and Landsberg. The zell part of the name is taken from the German word, zoll for toll. The roses are a symbol for the horticulture in the municipality.
