Origin/meaning
The arms are canting, showing a hawk (Habicht) and a stream (Bek, Bach), The small mountain symbolises the Baumbergen area in the municipality. The silver and black colours are derived from the arms of the Von Twickel family, who lived for many times on the local estate.
