In Silber zwei schräglinke Wellenstäbe, begleitet oben von einem roten Mühlstein, unten von zwei gekreuzten roten Hämmern, deren Schwerpunkt belegt mit einem roten Meißel.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 1, 2010.

The arms refer to the two rivers, the Große and Kleine Schnauder, after which the municipality is named. The millstone and tools refer to the former water mills and stone quarries in the area.
