Origin/meaning
The arms of the town show a walking red bull. The red bull is taken from the arms of the Counts Poniatowski, who ruled the area in the early 18th century.
Trzcianka received city rights in 1731 and the arms were granted 7 years later. Later 18th century seals show the arms of the later rulers of the town, but in 1790, when the town became part of Prussia, the old arms were restored and have basically not changed since.
Hupp showed the arms in more historically correct colours, with golden horns and hoofs.
