Em chefe, um açor de sua cor realçado, voado, com uma quina de Portugal nas garras. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro : " VILA DE S. ROQUE DO PICO ". |

Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 1, 1940.
The eagle holding the shield is the symbol of the Açores. The shield itself is based on the National arms. The grapes and whale indicate the main economic activities on the island, viticulture and (historically) whaling.
