Ubstadtw.jpg

Official blason:
In gespaltenem Schild vorn in Blau ein geschliffenes, silbernes Kreuz, hinten in Silber ein roter Reichsapfel mit goldenem Kreuz und goldenen Beschlägen.

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on January 20, 1975.

The combination of the arms of the four former municipalities was not possible. It was finally decided to use the orb from Ubstadt in combination with the cross of Speyr as arms. Most of the municipality belonged for many centuries to Speyr, and the arms of Ubstadt were taken as the seal of the municipality is in Ubstadt, which is also the most important of the villages. The colours of the arms of Ubstadt had to change, due to the blue colour of the right field.
