Province: Středočeský Kraj
District (Okres) : Kolín

Arms (crest) of Polní Voděrady

Official blazon

V modrém štítě zkřížené postavené stříbrné meče s červenou rukojetí, zlatou záštitou a hlavicí, nahoře zlatý pšeničný klas s listy, dole stříbrná ryba.

Origin/meaning

The arms were approved by the town council on February 22, 2018 and granted on May 3, 2018.

The fish is a symbol of the town's historical fish ponds.

A depiction of the arms with a gold horse crest was published in the Kolínský deník online newspaper. The article mentions the author of the arms and flag is designer Stanislav Pokorný. The crest is however not included in the city council decision to approve the arms nor in the official description.
