Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on May 27, 2008.
The bishop's mitre is an attribute of St. Nicholas, the patron of the local church. The golden lily is a reference to the historical owners of a part of the town, the Premonstratensians, as is the case with the arms of Litomyšl. The blue bar in a silver base represents the river Loučná which runs through the municipality.
