Coupé, au I. d'argent à deux fasces d'azur au lion naissant de gueules brochant, armé, lampassé et couronné d'or, à un lambel à cinq pendants du même brochant sur le tout; au II. de gueules à un sabot d'or.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 18, 1991.
The upper half of the arms shows the arms of Gerard de Durbuy, who acquired the village of Nassogne in 1275 and played a mayor role in the local development. The lower half shows a wooden shoe, symbol for the traditional (wooden) shoe manufacturing in the region.
