Official blazon

In gespaltenem Schild vorne von Blau und Silber schräg gerautet, hinten in Gold ein rot bewehrter, rot bezungter schwarzer Löwe.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1913.

The arms show the diamonds of Bayern and the lion of the Pfalz. The arms thus indicate that the village was for many centuries part of the Kurpfalz region.
