Origin/meaning
It is not known when the arms were originally granted, but they were confirmed in 1685. The arms were again officially registered on June 22, 2016.
The manor of Bohdaneč, among others, was historically owned by the lords of Miletínek, who used a checkerboard as their coat of arms, and by the Zub from Landštejn, who had a ladder in their coat of arms.
