Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 22, 1996.
The scallop is the symbol of St. James (Santiago), the local patron saint. The jug is the symbol of St. Anthony, after which the parish is named.
The wheat and oak branch symbolise the importance of agriculture and nature in the parish.
