Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 17, 1997.
The fleur-de-lis is the symbol of St. Mary, the local patron saint. The cross refers to the local chapel, a typical landmark. The black hill refers to the fact that the village is situated in the highest part of the municipality. The corn cob refers to the agricultural character of the village.
